Yes — when done correctly. South Carolina requires a physician, PA, or APRN to evaluate and prescribe before an RN may administer IV therapy. Lowcountry Vitality was founded by a licensed Physician Assistant who personally performs a good-faith exam for every guest, practicing under a physician supervision agreement. We follow the SC Board of Medical Examiners' joint guidance to the letter.
If we have an RN available, usually within 60 minutes anywhere on the peninsula or Mt. Pleasant, and within 90 minutes for the outer islands. Booking ahead is always safer for weekend mornings and wedding weekends.
No — like nearly every mobile wellness IV provider, we're a cash-pay concierge service. We accept all major cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. HSA/FSA cards work for medically indicated services; ask us.
Every guest is screened for contraindications via our intake form before the IV is prescribed. Our RNs are licensed, every order is written by our PA founder under physician supervision, and we carry $1M/$3M in professional liability insurance. Mild side effects (cool sensation at the IV site, occasional vitamin taste) are normal; serious reactions are rare and we're trained for them.
Thursday through Sunday, 8 AM to 8 PM — built around Charleston’s wedding and weekend calendar, when people actually need us. Corporate events and special weekday requests can usually be arranged on Thursdays; text us.
Yes. Wedding-morning slots are our busiest and we recommend booking 30+ days ahead during peak wedding season (March–June, September–November).
